Primavera, 2025/26 preseason underway at the Centro Bortolotti
Coach Bosi's Nerazzurri to set up camp in Brentonico on Friday
The new season has officially begun for the Nerazzurri Primavera as well, with the team gathering and holding their first training session at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia. Giovanni Bosi will once again be in charge of the black-and-blue U20s. As tradition dictates, before training Head of Youth Academy Roberto Samaden and Deputy Head Giancarlo Finardi addressed the team. Afterwards, the squad moved on to their first training session on the field.
Once again this year, the team will be competing on three fronts: the league, the Coppa Italia and the UEFA Youth League. "Having the chance to play on the continental stage," said coach Bosi, "is a fantastic opportunity and a valuable experience for everyone, one that will play a key part in the players' development as well. Despite hitting a few stumbling blocks early on, we did well to turn things around by consistently trying to play good football, and that's what made me proudest. I've always believed that this is the only way forward: achieving results through the quality of our play. That will be our goal again this season: growing step by step, game after game".
This season, the team will head to Brentonico for their preseason training: "Once again, the Club is giving us the opportunity to spend a few days in training camp, and it's definetely a valuable occasion to get to know each other better. Football is a team sport, and these moments of togetherness, where we build team spirit and face the challenges of preseason with enthusiasm and strong motivation, are truly important. We must never forget that we are Atalanta, and even at the youth level, we have to set an example by approaching everything with humility and a willingness to make sacrifices in order to become better players by the end of the year".
