How the Nerazzurri youngsters fared this weekend
The youth academy weekend got underway on Saturday with Primavera’s win over Cagliari at the Centro Bortolotti: Baldo struck twice in the 5-2 victory, with Parmiggiani, Arrigoni and Cakolli also on target. Sunday brought two high-scoring draws: the U17s played out a 4-4 thriller away to Venezia, with a brace from De Sabbata (pictured in the archive photo) and goals from Amalfitano and Zani, while the U16s drew 2-2 with Cremonese at Zingonia thanks to a double from El Hafid. The U15 fixture against Cremonese has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 25 (KO 15:00 CET) as the team is currently competing in Hungary at the Honvéd Cup. Meanwhile, the U18 league was not in action this weekend.
As for the women’s youth sides, in the Interregional Phase the U15s picked up a 5-0 away win over Hellas Verona Women thanks to goals from Centonze, Boncioli, Premoli, Muttoni and Colleoni, while the U17s drew 1-1 away to Como Women, with Fasoli on the scoresheet.
