The three points go to Udinese
Game settled by a pre-halftime strike
In the 2025/26 Serie A Enilive MD10 Atalanta fought hard but fell 1-0 to the home side at Udine’s Bluenergy Stadium.
The match has been fiercely contested from the first whistle, with end-to-end duels across the pitch. Udinese tested the Nerazzurri with long-range efforts from Zaniolo's shot straight at Carnesecchi and Atta going wide to a ranged effort from Kamara blocked by the Nerazzurri stopper. Atalanta, donning the orange third kit, threatened through Kamaldeen on 23 minutes, who had his goal ruled out for Zappacosta's offside in the build-up, and Éderson powering through, but seeing his attempt walled off by a defender. Udinese struck late in the first half with an agled finish from Zaniolo before Carnesecchi tipped Karlstrom's long-range effort over the bar just before the break.
The Nwrazzurri threatened in the 62nd as newly subbed-in Krstović, challenged by a defender, couldn't redirect Zappacosta’s cross from the right on target. On 81 minutes the visitors came knocking once again with Bellanova, whose first-time volley was thwarted by a crucial goal-line clearence from Atta. Despite their efforts the hosts imposed themselves 1-0 at the final whistle.
