World Cup qualifiers on the calendar

Two matchdays to go - out of a total of seven featuring Atalanta players - in this early October International break dedicated to World Cup Qualifiers.

Tonight, it’s De Ketelaere’s Belgium and Hien’s Sweden taking center stage in key qualifiers, while Krstović’s Montenegro are set to play a friendly.

Tomorrow, it’s the turn of Italy with Carnesecchi, Nigeria with Lookman, and Samardžić’s Serbia. Djimsiti’s Albania will also be in action, though in a friendly fixture.

Yesterday, Kamaldeen Sulemana's Ghana (the Atalanta winger was an unused sub) sealed a spot at the next World Cup with a 1-0 win over Comoros- kudos, Kamaldeen!

Also in action yesterday was Mario Pašalić’s Croatia, who claimed a comfortable 3-0 victory over Gibraltar (Pašalić did not feature).
