Primavera: 5-2 win over Sunderland U18s

A landslide triumph for coach Bosi's lads in the Serina friendly

Coach Bosi's Primavera imposed themselves over English side Sunderland U18s with a five-goal haul in the friendly held on the Serina pitch today. After the U19s took the lead and doubled it via Cassa and Riccio in the first half (which ended on a 2-1 for the Nerazzurri), the second half saw the black-and-blue storm rage in with Simonetto (a brace) and Jonsson. In addition to hitting the ground running, coach Bosi had also the chance to run his trials in the friendly against the Junior Mackhems by giving some room to a handful of players born in between 2005 and 2006.

Tomorrow, Tuesday July 23, the Serina boot camp will draw to its close with a morning drill. On Thursday, the team will be off to Oberndorf am Neckar, in Germany, to take part in the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe Cup, the International tournament to last until Sunday.
