Latina 2-0 Atalanta U23s

Atalanta U23s fell to a 2-0 away defeat against Latina in the rearranged Matchday 7 fixture of the 2026/27 Serie C Sky Wifi Group B campaign.

It was a difficult first half for the Nerazzurri, who struggled to contain Latina and went into the break two goals down. The hosts broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute through Baez, who latched onto a through ball, raced towards goal and beat Anelli. In the 34th minute, Cioffi struck the crossbar with an effort from inside the box before doubling Latina's lead just a few minutes later, weaving his way past the defence on a solo run and beating Anelli once again. Deep into first-half stoppage time, Pounga was shown a straight red card.

Chances were few and far between at both ends after the restart. Anelli was called into action in the 49th minute, producing a save to deny Baez's effort from the right. Four minutes later, Atalanta U23s looked to respond through Misitano, who collected Simonetto's pass inside the box but was unable to find the space to get a shot away. Shortly afterwards, Latina substitute De Cristofaro struck the post. With no further goals in the closing stages, the hosts held on to secure a 2-0 victory.
