Upon being teased on the Gewiss Stadium's Jumbotrons during the 2024 Christmas Match between Atalanta and Empoli, the next day, a joint press release unveiled all the exciting details (or rather aselected few, just to keep the anticipation high) about the much-awaited docu-film "ATALANTA: UNA VITA DA DEA"; Atalanta’s Christmas surprise for all its fans!
Directed by Beppe Manzi and produced by Oki Doki Film, Officina Della Comunicazione, and Atalanta BC., "ATALANTA: UNA VITA DA DEA" is the poignant and moving docu-film set for release in Italian cinemas in 2025 and to be distributed by Nexo Studios (stay tuned for more details on nexostudios.it).
Much more than just a documentary, "ATALANTA: UNA VITA DA DEA" delves into the Atalanta world as it focuses on the Club's riveting and emotional metamorphosis from "Regina delle provinciali” ("Queen of the Provincial Clubs") into “Regina d’Europa” ("Queen of Europe") by taking viewers through the eight most defining and crucial days in the history of Atalanta: sarting with the Coppa Italia final against Juventus, through the crucial Serie A match in Lecce that secured Atalanta’s fourth-ever Champions League qualification, and culminating in the "impossible" challenge against the invincible Bayer Leverkusen in the historic Europa League final in Dublin. By encompassing it all, the movie embraces iconic and unforgettable moments that are now etched in the Club's history books as living legacy.
