Atalanta U23s 1-2 Crotone

In the 6th round of the 2025/26 Serie C Sky Wifi season, Atalanta U23 narrowly lost 2-1 to Crotone.

The opening half idled by on level terms in Caravaggio, with few clear chances from either end: In the 24th minute Misitano broke through on a long ball sent from well inside his own half by Cortinovis and fired a right-footed scoarcher earning a corner kick. On 29 minutes, Vismara came up clutch to deny Gomez, whose header was bound for a bottom corner. On 36 minutes Vavassori found the back of the net slotting a weighted through goal before being flagged off fot outside. While Zanno opeted for an overhead kick in the 40th, Pasquale brought another save out of Vismara with another tricky header.

In the second half the game's tempo remained sluggish, with chances being few and far between. Then, in the 70th minute, Crotone broke the deadlock with a left-footed strike from Zunno. After nearing the equaliser in the 74th with a header from Levak, which was blocked and forced out for a corner, Atalanta made it all square in the 78th, when Cortinovis delivered a picture-perfect cross into the box, setting up Berto, who rose to nod home the leveler. The stalemate was short-lived for the Nerazzurri, as in the 87th minute Gomez headed home the winning goal for Crotone, set up by Groppelli.
