Atalanta For Special at the Dream Cup
3rd level team secures second place in Brescia
It was another football-filled weekend for Atalanta For Special, marked by fun and two important events.
On Friday 22 May, the academy players took to the pitch for a friendly match against Sorisolese’s academy team, while the following day the third-level squad took part in the Dream Cup held in Brescia.
DREAM CUP TOURNAMENT
The third-level team took part in the Dream Cup held in Brescia on Saturday 23 May. In their first appearance at a high-level tournament, the Nerazzurri, coached by Mister Perry Brignoli, faced opponents such as Brescia, Passirano, Camuni, and Hellas Verona, securing a highly prestigious second place.
After a comeback victory against Passirano (3-1), the team suffered a narrow defeat in a hard-fought derby against Brescia (5-4), but quickly regained spirit and determination. From there, the squad responded strongly with two convincing wins: 6-0 against Hellas Verona and 7-1 against Camuni.
Beyond the results, what stands out is the value of the journey carried out by the group: giving everyone space, allowing each player to take part, grow, learn, and feel part of the team.
A tournament that leaves Atalanta For Special with confidence and enthusiasm, along with the certainty that football is, above all, an educational experience of growth and sharing.
