U23s, Puljić joins from Bayern Munich 

Atalanta BC are pleased to announce the permanent signing of Ljubo Puljić from Bayern Munich. The Croatian defender will join the Club's U23 squad with effect from 1 July.

Born in Vinkovci on 31 May 2007, Puljić came through the youth ranks of Cibalia and Osijek before joining Bayern Munich in 2023, where he continued his development through the Bavarian club's academy system and progressed to Bayern Munich II.

During the the 2025/26 season, the left-footed centreback made 15 appearances for Bayern Munich II in the Regionalliga, Germany's fourth tier, and also made his UEFA Youth League debut, featuring against Arsenal.

Standing at 1.94 metres tall, Puljić is a regular member of Croatia's youth national teams and currently represents the U19s side, helping them qualify for the final phase of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
