GENERAL

  • Lookman is both the team's second-best goalscorer (17 nets) and assist provider (11 key passes) in all competitions -only surpassed by Scamacca and de Keteleaere respectively;

  • Lookman is the only Atalanta player to have scored an hattrick in all competitions this season;

  • The Nigerian forward was also the player with the highest goal contribution across Europe's Big-5 leagues with 14 nets favoured (namely, 8 goals scored and 6 assists) since April.

  • Lookman made his first seasonal appearance in the away 1-3 victory over Sassuolo on  20/08/2023 (Serie A TIM MD1);

  • Lookman scored his first seasonal goal (which was also his one and only away net across all competitions this season) in the setback suffered against Fiorentina on  17/09/2023 (Serie A TIM MD4);

  • By opening the scoring in the 2-0 home win over Cagliari on 24/09/2023, Lookman found his scoring ways in two consecutive games for the first time this season. Additionally, Ademola feature the Gewiss Stadium's scoreboard for the first time this season (Serie A TIM MD5);

  • By assisting Scamacca's 1-0 goal in the away win at Empoli on 30/10/2023 Lookman provided his first key pass in the 2023/24 Serie A season (Serie A TIM MD10);

  • Back to his "wingman" ways in the home loss suffered from Inter on 04/11/2023, not only did Lookman provide a key pass in two consecutive games for the first time this season, but he also crossed the milestone of the 50-career-goals contribution milestone (with 32 nets scored and 18 assists provided)  across the Big-5 leagues (Serie A TIM MD11);

  • The home setback suffered against Napoli on 25/11/2023 (when he also scored the temporary 1-1 equaliser) marked Lookman's 50th Atalanta appearance in all competitions (Serie A TIM MD13);

  • Dittoing his performance against Torino in the home setback v Fiorentina, Lookman scored a goal and provided one assist in the same league game for two consecutive games for the first time this season (Serie A TIM MD29 rescheduling);

  • Third best Atalanta scorer in the league with 11 goals in 31 matches (22 starts) averaging 1 net every 173 minute and the onlyplayer to have reached a double-digit scoring tally at home  (with 10 nets out of 11) in the 2023/24 Serie A and best nerazzurro scorer at the Gewiss Stadium.

COPPA ITALIA

  • 1 goal scored (averaging 1 goal in every 188' minutes) and 1 assist in 3 games.

  • By making it 3-1 in the comeback over Fiorentina on 24/4/2024 non only did Lookman break double-digit scoring figures in all competitions for the second consecutive season but it was also Ademola's 25th goal as a Nerazzurro (Coppa Italia semi-finals' return leg);

  • Additionally, Lookman scored one goal and provided one assist in the same Coppa Italia game for the first time ever since landing in Italy.

UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE

  • The 2-0 home win over Raków Częstochowa played on 21/09/2023 marked Lookman's first-ever European match as an Atalanta player (Group Stage MD1);

  • By levelling the score in the RO16 return game v Sporting CP with a 45:36 equaliser seconds after the beginning of the second half, not only did  Lookman score Atalanta’s fastest goal since the opening of the second game period in a major European competition (thus considering the UEFA Cup, the European Cup Winners’ Cup, the Europa League and the Champions League) but he also made his scoring debut as a nerazzurro in European competitions.

  • By breaking the deadlock and assisting Ruggeri's 2-0 goal in the 3-0 win over Olympique Marseille on 09/05/2024, Lookman scored one goal and provided one key pass in a single UEFA Europa League fixture for the first time in his career (UEL Semi-final return leg);

  • With his hat-trick in the 3-0 win over Bayer Lverusen in the UEL final played on 22/05/2024 Ademola Lookman became: the second-ever player from an Italian team to have bagged a hat-trick in a major European final ever since Pierino Prati and the second footballer to have scored three goals in a UEFA Cup/Europa League final since Josef Heynckes’ feat with Borussia Mönchengladbach in 1975. With his two goals scored in just 26 minutes, Atalanta’s number 11 has been the fastest brace-scorer in a major European Final since Kurt Roland Hamrin (who bagged two in 19 minutes for Milan in the 1968 Cups Winners’ Cup played against Hamburg). Lookman is also the first African player to have scored three goals in a major European final.

  • With 5 goals scored in 11 games (one in every 144 minutes) Lookman was the second best Atalanta scorer in the tournament, only one net shy of Scamacca (6).
