Academy, Under-18s and Under-17s Get Under Way

Following the Primavera, two more teams from Atalanta's Youth Academy have kicked off their 2026/27 campaign with their first get-together and opening training session at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia: the Under-18s and Under-17s.

Tiziano Polenghi (pictured below) will once again take charge of the U18 side this season. His coaching staff includes Assistant Coach Simone Dell'Acqua, Goalkeeping Coach Dario Peracchi and Fitness Coach Gian Piero Zamboni. Made up of players born in 2009, the squad will hold the first phase of pre-season training in Brentonico, Trentino-Alto Adige, from 3 to 12 August.

Two friendlies have already been scheduled: against Trento Primavera in Brentonico on Saturday 8 August (kick-off 16:30 CEST) and against Renate Primavera at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia on Thursday 13 August (kick-off 10:30 CEST).

There is a new face in charge of the U17 side this season, with Simone Fautario (pictured below) taking the reins after leading Inter U18 to the national title last campaign. His coaching staff is completed by Assistant Coach Alessio Manzoni, Goalkeeping Coach Dario Peracchi and Fitness Coach Marco Bramati. Made up of players born in 2010, the squad will hold a pre-season training camp in Fanano, Emilia-Romagna, from 3 to 11 August, where they will complete the opening phase of their preparations and compete in the 11th Memorial Seghedoni.

The tournament schedule sees Atalanta face Bologna in the semi-finals at the Sandro Pertini Stadium in Fanano on Friday 7 August (kick-off 18:30 CEST), with the finals taking place on Monday 10 August from 18:30 CEST.
