Youth academy: U16s and U15s back to work
Meet-up and first training session at the Centro Bortolotti
Following the Primavera, U18 and U17 teams, two more youth teams have kicked off their seasons with a pre-season gathering and their first training session at the Centro Bortolotti in Zingonia: the U16 and U15 sides.
Luca Belingheri (pictured below) is in charge of the U16s this season. His coaching staff includes assistant coach Gaetano Calà, goalkeeping coach Stefano Rota and fitness coach Andrea Filippelli. The squad is made up of players born in 2011 and will begin their pre-season preparations with a training camp in Roncegno Terme, Trentino-Alto Adige, from 17 to 23 August. The camp will conclude with a friendly against Trento. From 25 to 29 August, the U16s will then take part in the ‘Alba dei Campioni’ tournament in the province of Cuneo.
Alfonso Esposito (pictured below) will once again be in charge of the U15s this season. His coaching staff includes assistant coach Marcello Esposito, goalkeeping coach Stefano Rota and fitness coach Andrea Filippelli. The team, made up of players born in 2012, will be on a training camp in Lovere from 17 to 21 August. On Thursday 20 August, they will also play two friendly matches: against Ospitaletto at 11.00 and against Breno U16 at 17.00. From 22 to 23 August, the Nerazzurri U15s will then compete in the Paolo Valenti Summer Cup in Comano Terme.
