Youth Academy Roundup (04/10/2026)

A pair of 4-2 wins over Udinese, secured just minutes apart, highlighted Sunday’s Academy action at the Centro Bortolotti. The U16s were first to overcome the Friulian side, inspired by an outstanding Montalbano, who bagged a hat-trick (pictured on the cover celebrating with his teammates after the Nerazzurri number 7’s opening goal), before Moustatraf rounded off the scoring. The U15s were also involved in a hard-fought encounter, eventually sealing victory in the closing stages. After goals from Bini and Nichesola, Iurascu and Oliosi struck late on, with the latter putting the result beyond doubt with a perfectly executed lob from just inside the opposition half.

The U18s’ match against Como has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, with kick-off at 16:00 at the Centro Bortolotti. Meanwhile, the U17s’ away fixture against Mantova has been postponed to 22 October due to several players being away on international duty with their respective youth national teams. The Primavera league also remains on hold.

As for the girls’ sides, who are competing in the boys’ provincial U14 league during this first phase of the season, the U17s suffered a 3-0 defeat to Vertovese, while the U15s claimed a spectacular 10-5 win over Atletico A.T. in Brembate. Traini led the way with a hat-trick, Bonetti bagged a brace, while Raineri, Ghislanzoni, Piazzoli, Carenini and Milesi also got on the scoresheet.
