Final week of the season is here, and so is the second edition of our Wallpaper Recap!

Last time out, we leeft things right after the Christmas Match against Empoli and now it's time to turn over a new page, flipping the whole script and not just on the calendar: with our Part 2, it's time to dive into the thick of the second half of the 2024/25 campaign, into that action-packed business end covering the first five months of 2025, and kick things off with all the content from the reverse fixtures of the campaign…

Beginning as it was meant to be, namely following the red thread of records and historic firsts that has defined this season, 2025 came along with yet another unique moment: If the opening shot of our previous issue captured the UEFA Super Cup, with the Nerazzurri acting as torchbearers for the 2024/25 campaign, this time, switching from one Super Cup to another, our story picks up in Riyadh, where the "Atalanta of Arabia" rang in the new year by stepping onto the pitch on January 2 for the Italian Super Cup. The month rolled on with a manita against Sturm Graz, the Club’s biggest-ever home win on Europe’s most prestigious stage. Then came another night destined for the history books: a remuntada with an Orobic twist at the Lluís Companys, as the Nerazzurri crossed swords with Barcelona for the first time ever.

Still riding the wave of “manitas”, February delivered two unforgettable snapshots: the five-goal thrillers against Hellas Verona and Empoli. March raised the stakes with a true “pel de poia” night at the Allianz Stadium, as Atalanta pulled off a stunning win over Juventus. Then came April’s winning one-two punch: first at home against Bologna, then away at San Siro versus Milan, two decisive steps in the Nerazzurri’s climb back into the Champions League race. A race that hit the chequered flag under the Gewiss Stadium's lights in May, as a slick trick of Sulemagic vanquished Roma punching Atalanta'sUCL ticket for time number 5. And finally, the season’s last page: the match against Parma, a fitting curtain call for 2024/25, made even more iconic and emotional by the farewell of Nerazzurri legend Captain Rafael Toloi.
