The new Atalanta crest, the executive statements
From the Ownership and Pernice Comunicazione
Atalanta’s new crest represents an evolution of the Club’s identity: a visual mark designed to combine tradition, international recognisability and future vision. An update driven by the Ownership’s desire to further strengthen the positioning of the Atalanta brand while preserving the values that have always connected the Club with the city of Bergamo and its supporters.
The journey that led to the creation of the new crest is told through statements from the Ownership and Pernice Comunicazione, the agency responsible for its design and creative development. It was a shared process aimed at shaping a contemporary, essential identity aligned with the Club’s ambitions.
President Antonio Percassi: "Ours is a long story made of hard work, joy, athletes, sweat-soaked shirts and passionate fans.
It is also a story of Bergamasque identity, reflected in the crests that have marked the different eras throughout nearly 120 years of Atalanta history. We chose to stand out even more, to be instantly recognisable. Here is Atalanta’s new crest. History. Identity. Values. Future."
Co-Chairman Stephen Pagliuca: "I’ve come to recognise that Atalanta is really about the bond and partnership of the team with the community. Our fans' support has been amazing. And every day you walk into the stadium, you see the symbol of La Dea. And there's nothing like it, the spirit of Atalanta. We’re here to celebrate our new symbol that really captures that incredible spirit and bond with the partnership with the fans."
CEO Luca Percassi: "Every decision we make is driven by the results it can create. Our work and our passion are, above all, devoted to playing engaging and exciting football. We know how important it is for our fans to recognise our values in our colours and to feel truly part of Atalanta’s identity. The profile of Atalanta is clear, sharp and unmistakable. There is a part of Atalanta in every one of us."
Pernice Comunicazione Chairman, Andrea Pernice: "A return to the essentials in both lines and colours. More balance, more simplicity, greater recognizability. A statement. A way of being. Because Atalanta is Bergamo in the world of football."
