USG-Atalanta, the Fair Play Event

As tradition dictates, ahead of Union Saint-Gilloise vs Atalanta, club executives and UEFA officials came together for the customary pre-match gathering.

Held in the build-up to the eighth and final act of the 2025/26 League Phase, the Fair Play Event was set against the backdrop of the Joseph Marien Stadium, the historic home ground of Les Unionistes’ domestic fixtures on the national stages, celebrating the core values of respect, sportsmanship, and fair play championed by European football’s governing body.

Acting as hosts for the home side, Union Saint-Gilloise welcomed the Atalanta representatives with a delegation composed of Chief Executive Officer Philippe Bormans, President and Owner Alex Muzio, Sporting Director Chris O’Loughlin, and Board Members Daniel Spreutels and Martine Klutz.

The Nerazzurri contingent comprised CEO Luca Percassi, Stefano Percassi, Corporate General Manager Andrea Fabris, Institutional General Manager Umberto Marino and General Secretary & UEFA Main Contact Marco Semprini.

Representing UEFA at the pre-match ceremony was Delegate David Moran.
