Five players called up by their respective national team coaches
Five Atalanta U23 players have been called up by their respective national teams for international duty in September and October: Anelli, Idele, Mirra, Pedretti and Steffanoni.
Alessandro Anelli, Javison Idele and Jacopo Mirra will be in action with Italy U20 at the ELITE LEAGUE tournament, taking place in La Nucia from 20 September to 3 October 2026. The Azzurrini will open their campaign against England at the Camilo Cano Stadium on Friday 25 September at 11:30 CEST. They will then face Germany on Tuesday 29 September at 17:30 CEST and France on Saturday 3 October at 11:00 CEST, with both matches also taking place at the Camilo Cano Stadium.
Mattia Pedretti and Federico Steffanoni, meanwhile, have been called up by Italy U19 for an international friendly tournament in Croatia from 25 September to 4 October. The Azzurrini will make their debut against France in Kotoriba on Friday 25 September at 15:30 CEST, before taking on Türkiye in Ludbreg on Monday 28 September at 15:30 CEST and hosts Croatia in Čakovec on Wednesday 1 October at 15:30 CEST.
