UEFA's Site visit at the Gewiss Stadium

Assessing the site conformity for the Champions League games

With the debut of the upcoming 2024/25 Champions League's League Phase drawing nearer by the minute, UEFA dropped by for the customary venue inspection of the Gewiss Stadium.

During his visit, the appointed lead inspector and former Belgian International referee Fernand Meese has verified that the stands of the new Sourthern stand, the new corporate skyboxes, the indoor and outdoor facilities, including the underground parking lot, were compliant with the UCL game regulations.

In the wake of the site investigation, all data logged in the stadium passport and registered on UEFA's "TIME" platform have thus been brought up to date.

The Atalanta staffing, accompanied by a delegation of FIGC representatives, chaperoned the on-site visit of head inspector Meese, who carried out all required verifications.
