U23s, Salvatore Bocchetti: "Huge satisfaction"

After the win over Cerignola, Salvatore Bocchetti commented as follows: “There’s a lot of satisfaction, I’m really happy. I had already told the boys they had grown a lot, even when the results weren’t coming. I could see how they were working and how much they cared, and I was convinced the results would come. This is a very tough group, so now we look ahead and focus on the next matches. We knew Cerignola are a very strong side and that they could cause us problems. The lads did well to react after conceding two goals. I’m happy for them—like I said, they deserve it”.

He concluded: “This is a different team compared to the one from the first half of the season. They are improving a lot, and it’s all part of the growth process.
