March 2026 Representatives: the recap of Friday 27
All Results and Upcoming Fixtures
Fifteen Atalanta first-team players have been called up to their respective National teams. Some will feature in friendly matches, while others will compete in playoff fixtures for qualification to the upcoming World Cup or, in the case of the Under-21s, in European Championship qualifiers.
All fixtures on Friday 27 March were friendlies, with mixed results for the Nerazzurri on international duty:
Mario Pašalić’s Croatia edged past Colombia 2-1, with the Atalanta midfielder playing the opening 80 minutes and setting up the first goal. A win also for Montenegro, who beat Andorra 2-0, although Nikola Krstović was not included in the squad.
Setbacks, meanwhile, for Kamaldeen Sulemana’s Ghana, who were defeated 5-1 by Austria (the Atalanta winger coming on in the 86th minute), and for Lazar Samardžić’s Serbia, who fell 3-0 to Spain, with the Nerazzurri midfielder entering the game in the 60th minute.
