The Nerazzurri shined at the 4th Edition of “Tardini For Special”

Coach Lesmo’s team reach the final in the 2nd-tier tournament

On the first weekend of June, Parma hosted the fourth edition of “Tardini For Special,” a true festival of inclusive football, where once again the Atalanta For Special team played a leading role.

The Nerazzurri, participating for the first time in a second-level tournament, immediately faced high-caliber opponents. The first two matches, against Sampdoria and Insuperabili Genoa respectively, ended 0-0 despite numerous scoring opportunities.

Coach Gianmario Lesmo’s lads then faced Empoli. To advance in the tournament, the Nerazzurri needed to beat the Tuscan side by at least five goals and indeed, the final score was 5-0. It was a well-played match by the Atalanta team, earning them a spot in the semifinals.

To reach the final, the For Special team had to face Monza: two goals by Fabian Cordoso and Ulisse Pezzotti sealed the victory for Atalanta.

In the grand finale, the Nerazzurri battled for the title against Piacenza. It was a thrilling and hard-fought match, with the For Special team taking the lead thanks to Probo. However, an unfortunate own goal allowed Piacenza to equalize and win the tournament based on a better overall goal difference.

A very significant second-place finish for the Nerazzurri, especially considering it was their first time participating in a second-tier tournament.
