Primavera: Atalanta 1-0 Parma
Baldo found the net for the 17th time in the league this season
Atalanta claimed a hard-fought victory at Zingonia, extending their unbeaten run in the league to 11 matches. On matchday 34 of the Primavera 1 2025–26 “Giacinto Facchetti Trophy,” Giovanni Bosi’s side edged Parma 1-0.
Parma created the first opening of the game through Diop, whose curling effort from distance was comfortably dealt with by Anelli. Atalanta gradually grew into the contest, with Belli seeing his attempt blocked before Baldo was denied twice in quick succession by a sharp intervention from Astaldi in the 9th minute. Midway through the first half, Parma came close to breaking the deadlock when Mikolajewski struck the crossbar from a set piece. The decisive moment arrived in the 36th minute, as Baldo calmly finished from the edge of the box after a well-worked move down the left involving Camara. Parma pushed for an equaliser late in the half, again through Diop, but Atalanta held firm to take a 1-0 lead into the break.
The visitors started the second half brightly, with Plicco testing Anelli from the edge of the area. Parma remained dangerous, and in the 76th minute Mikolajewski curled a left-footed effort just wide. Atalanta nearly doubled their advantage shortly after, but Isoa’s shot drifted narrowly past the right post. In the closing stages, the hosts looked to put the game to bed, going close through Leandri and Cakolli with headers, as well as Baldo from a tight angle, but Astaldi produced key saves to keep Parma in the contest.
At the final whistle, Atalanta secured a 1–0 win at the Centro Bortolotti, moving into sole possession of fifth place with 53 points.
