President Percassi Honoured with “Inside the Sport 2026” Award

President Antonio Percassi has been awarded the “Inside the Sport 2026 ” prize, promoted by Ussi and Mcl as part of the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Unione Stampa Sportiva Italiana (Italian Sports Press Union).

The award was collected by Atalanta BC General Director Andrea Fabris during the ceremony held today at the "Museo del Calcio" in Coverciano.

Conveying the Nerazzurri President's acknowledgement, Fabris underlined that "this recognition belongs to the entire Percassi family, and especially to Luca Percassi, who leads the club every day with great expertise”.

As part of his addressing speech, Fabris also highlighted the value of the work carried out within the Club: "This is a shared daily commitment from everyone, built on competence and dedication. Over the years, significant work has also been done on infrastructure: today, we can count on a superb stadium and a top-level training centre. There is great pride in what is being built".

Finally, Atalanta's Corporate Director placed emphasis on the Club's technical project and its focus on youth development: “In Bergamo there is a very strong work culture. Anyone who spends time at the Zingonia training centre knows that many coaches are former Atalanta players and that there is a clear, well-defined pathway. The Under-23 side is achieving important results and we represent a model. We strongly believe in young players, and the results confirm the choices made by the Percassi family”.
