Primavera: Lazio 2-0 Atalanta
Nerazzurri will face Bologna in Zingonia next Sunday
At the Mirko Fersini Stadium in Formello, on matchday 23 of the 2025–26 Primavera 1 Championship “ Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” the Biancocelesti claimed a 2-0 home victory over Atalanta.
After an evenly balanced opening, it was the Nerazzurri who created the first real chance: around the 20th minute, Artesani narrowly missed the far post with a header from Bonanomi’s excellent set-piece delivery. Lazio attempted to respond on the counter through Gelli, but the Atalanta defense blocked Lazio's number 10 with a crucial deflection, allowing Anelli to gather comfortably. Late in the first half, coach Bosi’s side pushed forward again with a long-range effort from H. Camara, yet the opening period ended scoreless.
Lazio came out strongly after the break and threatened first. In the 56th minute, following a corner kick, Isoa rose highest in the box but failed to direct his header on target. Six minutes later, Anelli kept Atalanta level with an excellent save from Farcomeni’s free kick. With 15 minutes remaining, the Nerazzurri went close again when Maffessoli headed just wide from close range, but it was the hosts who broke the deadlock shortly afterward, as Sulejmani converted from the penalty spot.
After falling behind, Atalanta pushed for an equaliser and came close through substitute Cakolli, but Lazio sealed the result in the 88th minute when Montano scored the second goal. The match at the Mirko Fersini Stadium ended 2–0 in favour of the Biancocelesti.
