Atalanta U23s 0-0 Cosenza
Back-to-back shutouts for the Nerazzurri
It ended goalless at the Municipal in Caravaggio: the 2025/26 Serie C Sky Wifi matchday 28 played out to a goalless draw. It marks the second straight clean sheet for the Nerazzurri.
It was a tight first half but played at a good tempo in Caravaggio. Atalanta U23s saw more of the ball and looked to dictate the play, trying to pull the strings, but they couldn’t find the killer instinct in the final third. On 18 minutes, Manzoni let fly from distance, but his effort drifted wide and never troubled the keeper. The best chance of the half came on 31 minutes: Cassa broke at pace on the counter, surged into the box and pulled the trigger, but he fired straight at Pompei, who kept it out.
The second half followed much the same script as the first: a decent tempo, but even fewer chances and very little room to operate. The two sides struggled to carve out openings, with the game locked in a midfield stalemate. On 64 minutes, Cassa once again went on a solo run, piecing together a promising move before getting his shot away, but the effort lacked power and was comfortably gathered by the keeper. The only real sight of goal for Cosenza Calcio came right on 90 minutes. After a scramble in the box and a series of ricochets, a Rossoblù effort flew just over the bar, grazing the woodwork.
