Primavera, Juventus 3-2 Atalanta

Lightning goals from Ricco and Bonanomi

A sting in the tail for the Nerazzurri, forced to throw the towel only in injury time as Juventus imposed themselves 3-2 on MD32 thanks to a late goal.

Off to a rocky onset, Atalanta found themselves trailing in the early stages of the game as the hosts broke the deadlock thanks to Biliboc's winning shot into the far corner 9 minutes in. Coach Bosi's lads quickly sought a response through Bonanomi and Steffanoni, both coming close, yet without converting their chances. In with another chance at equalizing in the 24th, Steffanoni saw his point-blank attempt eventually denied by the opposing keeper in the nick of time. The first half then closed with the home side leading 1-0 at the break.

Right at the start of the second half, Juventus stretched their lead through Vacca, who dribbled his way into the box before finishing past the keeper. With 20 minutes left on the clock, Bonanomi tried his luck with a ranged left-footer, albeit hissing wide of the mark. However, in the 73rd, Riccio found the back of the net with a powerful shot from the edge of the box to pull one back before Bonanomi volleyed the equalizer home to level the game up in 2 minutes sharp. In injury time, though, Juventus got back on top, with Pugno eventually tipping the needle of the game in the hosts' favour.
