How to get to the Fußball Arena München, meeting point, stadium regulations...
Supporters travelling to Germany for the second leg of Atalanta's 2025/26 UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie against Bayern Munich - taking place at the Fußball Arena München (address: Franz-Beckenbauer-Platz 5, 80939 München, Germany) on Wednesday 18 March with kick-off at 21:00 CET - are advised to take note of the following important information, received by the hosting club. Gates for away fans will open at 18:45 CET.
HOW TO GET TO THE STADIUM AND PARKING
By car and minivan
Supporters arriving in Munich by car or minivan can use the 'P Guests' parking area located close to the stadium: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Zmg1oeGcGQp47RPs8
By bus
All buses arriving in Munich must drop off fans in the city centre at Busparkplatz München Erhardstr, located about a 15-minute walk from the city centre, and then continue to the “P Guests” parking area near the stadium.

Parking costs – vehicle registration plate required:
- Bus: €25 (cash payment on site only)
- Minivan/SUV: vehicles higher than 2 meters must park in the bus parking area. Parking cost: €15
- Car: €12 if purchased by Tuesday, €15 if purchased on matchday (Wednesday)
Vehicles leaving the stadium without paying for parking will be registered via number plate. Supporters will have a 48‑hour grace period to register the plate online and pay the fee. Otherwise, an irrevocable fine with additional administrative costs will be issued.
Disabled parking
For wheelchair users, parking is available in P1, level 3. All wheelchair users, including away supporters, must access via the South Entrance (Entrance 1).
Metro
The nearest underground station to the stadium is Fröttmaning. Away supporters arriving by metro will not access the stadium through the South entrance via the Esplanade but will instead be directed to the dedicated away supporter entrance through a specific pedestrian route.
After the match, all visitors will use the South Esplanade to reach the metro station.

MEETING POINT
No official meeting point has been designated. Atalanta supporters are free to move around the city and reach the stadium individually. As a suggested meeting place, Marienplatz, – the main square in Munich city centre – can be used.
From Marienplatz, the stadium can be reached via the U6 underground line towards Garching‑Forschungszentrum, getting off at Fröttmaning.
SAFETY AND STADIUM ACCESS
All supporters will be subject to ticket checks and security searches at all entrances. These checks will also be supported by Atalanta stewards.
Away Section
Access will be possible only through Gates 72 and 73. The dedicated blocks are 339–347 (see maps below).
Gates will open 2 hours and 15 minutes before kick‑off (18:45 CET).
Banners and flags
Banners hung from the balustrade in the upper tier must not be fixed below the lower edge of the anti-fall barrier, in order not to obstruct the view of the boxes located below. The maximum permitted height of 1,00m will be checked at the entrance.
WARNING: Flags larger than 1,00m will not be permitted.
Supporter materials
The assessment and inspection of supporter equipment, flags and banners will take place at a separate entrance (Gate 77), with access permitted to a maximum of 5 people at a time.
Luggage storage
Bags larger than A4 size can be deposited at the entrance of the away sector at a cost of €2.00.
INSIDE THE STADIUM
- Payment methods: Cash payments are not accepted inside the stadium. Only credit cards, debit cards and contactless payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay etc.) are accepted.
- Glasses: a €2 deposit will be required for reusable glasses.
- Food and drinks must not be taken into the blocks.
Note: Banners and choreographies must be authorised in advance. A detailed written registration (text, dimensions, design, material, B1 certificate, etc.) is required at least one week before the match. Fire safety regulations must be respected (B1 – flame-retardant material). A certification issued by an authorised testing institute (DIN 4102) must be provided.
- Smoking ban: Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the stadium.
Stairways must be kept completely clear of any obstacles in all blocks/sectors for the entire duration of the event.

- Flags (pole length max. 1.5 m, plastic poles)
- Drums (open at the bottom and visible – only in the away fan sections)
- Balustrade banners / fan club flags (with proper names): maximum height 1,00 m, space permitting – in the upper tiers, balustrade banners must not be fixed below the lower edge of the anti-fall barrier, in order not to obstruct the view of the boxes located below)
- Bags up to A4 size
- Power banks up to 100g
Prohibited items
- Flags larger than 1,00m
- Camera tripods
- Pyrotechnic devices or fireworks of any kind
- Backpacks or bags larger than A4 size
- Liquids or metal/glass containers
- Power banks above 100 g and selfie sticks
