Primavera: Atalanta 5-2 Cagliari
The Nerazzurri claim their third straight league win
On Matchday 30 of the 2025/26 Primavera 1 'Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti', the Nerazzurri extended their unbeaten run to seven games with a convincing 5-2 home victory over Cagliari at Zingonia.
After a balanced opening phase, Atalanta broke the deadlock in the 14th minute when Parmiggiani reacted quickest to a rebound following a deflected effort from Camara, tapping home to give the hosts the lead. Cagliari responded with attempts from distance, but struggled to test the defence before Arrigoni doubled the advantage in the 23rd minute with a superb first-time finish from inside the box. The Nerazzurri controlled the remainder of the first half and went into the break 2–0 up.
The hosts extended their lead shortly after the restart, as Baldo latched onto a perfectly weighted through ball from Artesani and finished at the near post in the 49th minute. Although Cagliari pulled one back in the 63rd minute, Baldo restored the three-goal cushion almost immediately, completing his brace with a precise strike in the 64th minute. The visitors struck again to reduce the deficit, but Cakolli made sure of the result in the 74th minute, sealing a 5–2 win for Atalanta in an entertaining second half.
