Primavera, Atalanta 2-3 Lecce
Camara and Percassi on the scoresheet for the Nerazzurri
Lecce came out on top at the Centro Bortolotti: on MD19 of the Primavera 1 Championship “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti”, the Giallorossi defeated the Nerazzurri 3–2.
Atalanta were the early protagonists of the match and after just 6 minutes they threatened through Camara in the six-yard box, following an excellent cross from the right by Percassi. Around the 10th minute, Lecce tried to respond to the Nerazzurri’s play with a long-range effort from Pacia, but in the 20th minute coach Bosi’s team took the lead thanks to a precise, clinical finish from Camara after a fine exchange on the edge of the area between Bonanomi and Artesani. After conceding, the Giallorossi pushed forward into the Nerazzurri box, with Dalla Costa going close to equalising with a curling shot towards the far post. At the end of the first half, Baldo and his teammates doubled their lead through Percassi, whose decisive strike beat the Lecce goalkeeper at the near post.
In the second half, the Giallorossi pulled one back in the 53rd minute thanks to a close-range left-footed finish by Sanchez, following a pass from the left into the centre of the area. Coach Bosi’s side then pushed forward in search of a third goal, but in the 70th minute Lecce found the equaliser through Pehlivanov, who headed home from a corner kick. In the closing stages of the match, deep into stoppage time, the Salento side completed the comeback as Pacia scored with a header to make it 2–3.
