Primavera: Atalanta 2-1 Cesena
Bono and Baldo lead the Nerazzurri to 39 points in the standings
At the Centro Bortolotti, Atalanta secured their fourth consecutive positive result in the league: in the MD28 of the 2025-26 Primavera 1 Championship – “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti”, Ramaj and his teammates came from behind to win 2-1 against Cesena.
The first chance of the match fell to the Nerazzurri: in the 13th minute, after a nice one-two down the right flank, Baldo delivered a cross into the box for Leandri, whose volley went just wide. A few minutes later, Baldo threatened again with a close-range shot that was blocked by the visiting defense; he arrived first on the rebound but failed to find the target. Approaching the half-hour mark, Artesani unleashed a left-footed strike from distance that was comfortably saved by Fontana, while in the 33rd minute, Bosi’s side came close again through Mouisse, only for the Cesena goalkeeper to make a crucial save. In the final moments of the first half, Cesena took the lead with Ridolfi’s header from a corner. At Zingonia, the first half ended with the Romagna side ahead 1-0.
In the second half, the Nerazzurri immediately tried to restore parity with Cakolli, but the number 9’s close-range tap-in went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Atalanta tested the Cesena defense with a double chance involving Artesani and Gasparello. Two minutes later, Atalanta drew level thanks to Bono’s first-time finish from an excellent cross from Artesani on the right. In the final stages, Bosi’s side took control of the game and continued to push forward, and in the 79th minute, Baldo scored the winning goal with a smart touch ahead of Fontana after Leandri’s excellent cross from the left. At the Centro Bortolotti, the Nerazzurri completed their comeback to win 2-1 against Cesena.
On Monday, 9 March, the Nerazzurri will be in action away at Cremonese for the 29th round of the 2025-26 Primavera 1 Championship, with kickoff at 13 CET.
