Primavera: Atalanta 1-0 Monza
Cakolli puts the Nerazzurri back in sixth place in the standings
On Matchday 37 of the 2025/26 Primavera 1 “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti”, the Nerazzurri edged past Monza Primavera 1–0 at the Centro Bortolotti to climb back into sixth place in the standings.
After a balanced opening spell, the first real chance fell to Atalanta on 35 minutes, when Artesani fired inches over from the edge of the box with his left foot. A few minutes later, Steffanoni also came close to breaking the deadlock, but the Monza defence managed to deny him at the crucial moment.
The visitors threatened early in the second half before substitute Cakolli gave the Nerazzurri the lead on 53 minutes, heading home from Percassi’s cross from the right. Monza pushed for an equaliser through Attinasi, but Anelli reacted well to turn his 70th-minute effort behind for a corner. The Nerazzurri nearly doubled their advantage on 80 minutes when Mouisse volleyed narrowly wide, while Baldo also looked dangerous on several occasions. In the end, however, Cakolli’s goal proved decisive as Atalanta secured a 1–0 win at the Centro Bortolotti and moved back up to sixth in the table.
