Primavera: Atalanta 0-0 Milan
The Nerazzurri climb up to 16 points in the standings
Eighth-game unbeaten run in the league for the Nerazzurri of coach Bosi, who in Matchday 8 of the Primavera 1 championship — the “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” — earned an important point at the Centro Bortolotti against AC Milan.
The match between Atalanta and Milan began on level terms, with both sides showing intensity and physicality from the very first minutes. The first real chance for Atalanta came just after the 20-minute mark, when Baldo’s effort drifted wide, while Milan replied through Castiello, whose strike was brilliantly turned away by Zanchi. Late in the first half, Baldo again broke through on goal, but Milan goalkeeper Longoni came off his line with perfect timing to deny him. The first half in Zingonia ended goalless.
After the break, Atalanta threatened first with a long-range attempt from Artesani, while Milan responded as Pandolfi’s free kick brushed the side netting. In the 72nd minute, coach Renna’s men came close to taking the lead when Lontani’s volley flew just over the bar. Five minutes from time, the Nerazzurri had a pair of good chances: first Mouisse curled an effort narrowly wide, then Michieletto’s shot from the right lacked the power to trouble Longoni. In the closing moments, Michieletto once again created danger from the left, but neither side managed to find the breakthrough.
At the Centro Bortolotti, Atalanta and Milan shared the spoils with a 0–0 draw — another solid result for Bosi’s team, who continue their unbeaten run in the league.
