Primavera, Atalanta 0-0 Inter
Nerazzurri move up to nine points in the standings
The Nerazzurri extended their unbeaten run in the league to five matches: on Matchday 5 of the Primavera 1 “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” league, captain Ramaj and his teammates earned a valuable point at the Centro Bortolotti against Inter.
The Nerazzurri, led by coach Giovanni Bosi, got off to a flying start, threatening the breakthrough within the opening ten minutes with Cakolli. The striker first went close with a header from an Artesani cross, then moments later fired just wide at the end of a sharp counterattack. On 15 minutes, Bono also tested the opposition, but his effort lacked the power to trouble Farronato.
Inter grew into the game around the half-hour mark, with Iddrissou twice going close: first with a header that cleared the bar, then with a strike that failed to hit the target. Ten minutes before the interval, Artesani nearly found the opener with a low left-footed shot from the edge of the area that skimmed the post. Just before the break, Ramaj also threatened, but at the Centro Bortolotti the first half ended goalless, with nothing to separate the sides.
In the second half, the first chance came in the 70th minute for Inter: substitute Mezmizi unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the box, but Anelli produced a fine save to keep it out. Ten minutes from the final whistle, captain Ramaj tried his luck from the left with an effort aimed at the far post, but it flew well over the bar. In the closing stages, Bovio threatened with a header from a corner, but in Zingonia the clash between Atalanta and Inter ended 0-0.
