Primavera, Atalanta 2-2 Lazio
Ciapini grabs a late equaliser for the Nerazzurri
A stoppage-time strike from Ciapini earned Atalanta a valuable point as the Nerazzurri came from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Lazio in Matchday 8 of the 2026/27 Primavera 1 “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” at the Centro Sportivo Bortolotti in Zingonia.
Lazio took the lead inside the opening minute, with Gatto quickest to react after Bugli had parried an initial effort. Atalanta responded well, with Fugazzola testing the visiting goalkeeper from a promising position in the 13th minute. The Nerazzurri continued to push, as Fugazzola came close to finding the target in the 22nd minute before shooting wide in the 29th following a neat combination with Colombo. The equaliser arrived in the 34th minute, when Fugazzola's dangerous cross forced Gatto into an own goal.
The second half continued in much the same vein, with Atalanta looking to take the lead while Lazio remained dangerous. Bordon went close with a header in the 56th minute, before putting the visitors back in front in the 74th, reacting quickest to a clearance from the Nerazzurri defence to beat Bugli.
Atalanta pushed hard for a second equaliser and finally got their reward in stoppage time. Cakolli, one of the Nerazzurri's substitutes, picked out Ciapini in the box, and the forward found the net to make it 2-2 and cap a determined comeback.
