Atalanta conquer the Meazza: Milan beaten 3-2
On target Éderson, Zappacosta and Raspadori
With a superb all-round team performance, Atalanta claimed all three points at the Giuseppe Meazza. On the 2025/26 Serie A Enilive Matchday 36, the Nerazzurri defeated Milan 3-2 thanks to goals from Éderson, Zappacosta and Raspadori, moving up to 58 points in the standings.
After Rabiot struck the outside of the post in the 4th minute, the Nerazzurri broke the deadlock three minutes later through Éderson, whose pinpoint right-footed finish beat Maignan after excellent work by Raspadori inside the box. Atalanta threatened again in the 15th minute with a quick-fire double chance: first Krstović forced Maignan into a save, then Raspadori narrowly missed connecting with Zappacosta’s dangerous low cross at the far post. Two minutes later, Zalewski also tested the Rossoneri keeper, who pushed the effort behind for a corner. Atalanta doubled their lead in the 29th minute: De Ketelaere picked out Krstović, whose first-time pass released Zappacosta clean through on Maignan. The Nerazzurri No. 77 kept his cool and applied a precise finish to make it 0-2 just before the half-hour mark. Carnesecchi got called into action in the 36th minute, doing well to deny Leão from close range.
Atalanta added a third after the break: Éderson played it wide to Raspadori, who fired a powerful left-footed strike past Maignan to make it three for the Nerazzurri. In the 64th minute, Carnesecchi reacted sharply to deny Nkunku from close range. The Nerazzurri went close to a fourth in the 71st minute, but Krstović couldn't hit the target from a promising position. In the 75th minute, Carnesecchi produced a superb save to tip Nkunku’s goal-bound effort onto the crossbar. Milan pulled one back in the 88th minute through Pavlović’s header and then made it 3-2 in stoppage time with Nkunku converting from the penalty spot in the 94th minute. The final scare came in the 97th minute when Gabbia’s header drifted just wide. At the Giuseppe Meazza in Milan, the Nerazzurri emerged as 3-2 winners.
