Atalanta, deeply moved, mourn the passing of Angelo Paina.
A tartget striker, Paina donned the Atalanta shirt in the 1977-1978 and the 1978-1979 seasons. In his 43 appearances for Atalanta, Paina scored 7 goals. While he netted one goal in the Coppa Italia, two in the Serie A and three in the Intertoto Cup in the 1977/78 campaign, Angelo featured the Serie A scoreboard once in the following campaign.
President Antonio Percassi and the whole Atalanta family share the pain felt by all of Paina's loved ones and wish to tender their most heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies.
