For Special: two friendly matches with GSO Trescore
The fourth-level team was in action over the weekend
Invited by GSO Trescore, Atalanta For Special experienced another meaningful step in their educational journey, meeting a club that shares the values of growth, respect, and participation.
At the Trescore Balneario parish oratory, the Nerazzurri fourth-level side played two intense and hard-fought matches against the home club’s youth teams, where the result took a back seat to the spirit of the day. The GSO Trescore players warmly welcomed and supported Atalanta For Special throughout, showing great enthusiasm and respect.
The day concluded with a final awards ceremony, featuring a special recognition for Marco Capitanio, assistant coach of GSO Trescore and player of Atalanta For Special. He was honoured for his constant commitment, availability, and his role as a positive example both on and off the pitch. A symbolic but meaningful gift was presented to him: a tracksuit and a whistle, in appreciation of his dedication and educational contribution within the group.
The evening ended with a shared “third half” dinner between the two teams, filled with conviviality and togetherness, where friendships born on the pitch continued off it, further strengthening bonds that go beyond sport.
