27-year-old defender underwent successful surgery
Atalanta BC can confirm that today, Tuesday 30 June 2026, Isak Hien underwent surgery to repair the proximal semimembranosus tendon in his left thigh.
The procedure was successfully performed at Pihlajalinna Hospital in Turku, Finland, by Professor Lasse Lempainen, a specialist in tendon surgery.
The player will begin his rehabilitation programme immediately.
