Jack-pot Raspadori: May’s Snaifun GOTM is his!
Voted by Nerazzurri fans on our social channels
According to the old saying that “the third time’s the charm”, after finding the net against Parma and Lecce, Giacomo Raspadori arrives dulcis in fundo. With his third goal of the season in Nerazzurri colours, Atalanta’s number 18 claims the top spot in the GOTM standings, taking home the gold medal on his debut appearance in a Goal Of The Month race painted in the colours of Milan.
With the goal that once again highlighted his special connection with the Giuseppe Meazza — a true hunting ground for Jack, now up to four career goals at San Siro between Milan (3) and Inter (1) — and especially with the Rossoneri, now the third favourite victim of the Nerazzurri forward considering also the goals scored in Azzurro and Neroverde before his winter move to Bergamo, behind only Genoa (5) and Juventus (4), Raspadori puts the final seal on this month’s “made in San Siro” showcase.
Behind the number 18, Davide Zappacosta and Éderson complete the podium.
As always, here are the “exit polls” before we dive into the play-by-play of our four finalists:

4th place: Nicolò Baldo, Atalanta 1-2 Fiorentina, Primavera 1 “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti” MD36
The poster boy of coach Bosi’s attacking department, Nicolò Baldo once again planted the Primavera flag on the GOTM board with his third nomination of the season. After finishing with the wooden spoon back in March, the Nerazzurri number 11 opens this month’s roundup with his 18th goal of the campaign.
Following a high turnover from captain Ramaj in the attacking third, the ball falls kindly to Baldo, who drives centrally towards the edge of the box before unleashing a thunderbolt from distance: the shot flies into the far top corner to break the deadlock at Zingonia in the 38th minute of the first half.
Matchday 36 of the 2025/26 Primavera 1 ‘Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti’ saw Fiorentina impose themselves 2–1 at the Centro Bortolotti.
3rd place: Éderson, Milan 2-3 Atalanta, Serie A Enilive MD36
In a GOTM roundup inevitably shaped by Atalanta’s statement win at the Meazza, the bronze medal goes to Éderson. Once again a leading figure at San Siro for the second consecutive season, if twelve months ago his diving header had earned him the GOTM crown, this time the “trece” — and MVP of the match for the second year running — has to “settle” for third place thanks to the goal that uncorked the game and put Atalanta 1-0 up on the Milan scoreboard.
A genuine cold shower for the home side, with a strong sense of déjà-vu about it: De Ketelaere bursts down the byline before cutting into the heart of the box. With Krstović brought down amid the scramble, the ball reaches Raspadori, whose back-to-goal touch ricochets off De Winter. But quickest to react is Éderson: the Brazilian pounces like a true penalty-box predator, breaking the deadlock and firing Atalanta ahead after just six minutes.
Runner-up: Davide Zappacosta, Milan 2-3 Atalanta, Serie A Enilive MD36.
Second step on the podium and second snapshot of Atalanta’s first-half overflow at San Siro. The storyline rolls on and, for the runner-up spot, it is Davide Zappacosta’s turn to take centre stage: already a winner back in March, the Nerazzurri number 77 falls just short of back-to-back GOTM crowns in the Snaifun-branded contest, thanks to yet another gem under the lights of the Meazza.
With CDK once again acting as the deus ex machina down the right flank, the Belgian opens up the pitch and delicately clips the ball into the heart of the box for Krstović who, with a gladiatorial hold-up play, shields possession before teeing up Zappacosta’s run. From there, the number 77 puts on a show: a touch suspended somewhere between a sombrero flick and a self-assisted nutmeg sends Gabbia the wrong way, before Zappacosta races through one-on-one and coolly buries past Maignan. On 28 minutes, Atalanta’s 2-0 lead is served.
Winner: Giacomo Raspadori, Milan 2-3 Atalanta, Serie A Enilive MD36
And after whetting the appetite with the winner’s “prequel” and “sequel” spread across the other two podium spots, it is finally time to piece back together the trio that gave life to Atalanta’s “perfect storm” in Milan...
After opening the scoring — and also kicking off May’s GOTM podium — Éderson steps back into the spotlight, this time as the assist provider: the Brazilian sinks his teeth into the ball recovered by de Roon, cuts across Rabiot’s attempted screen and then stitches together Atalanta’s transition move, sliding the winning ace into Raspadori’s path.
From there on, Jack slams his cards on the table: a surgical right-footed finish at the near post, the ball kissing the top corner and Atalanta’s third goal served up in style, blowing the bank wide open at San Siro and completing yet another Nerazzurri exorcism on Rossoneri turf.
