2025/26 Snaifun Goal of the Season: the Match Point Has Been Served!
From 16 to 28 June, it's two weeks of non-stop voting for the Nerazzurri faithful
A season of goals, votes and plot twists. With the field now complete, it's time for the final verdict.
From top seeds to wildcards, via a handful of luxury outsiders, the 2025/26 Snaifun Goal of the Season brings together the very best of Atalanta's attacking production in a single bracket. Sixteen of the season's most iconic goals will go head-to-head in a knockout format to determine the ultimate Goal of the Season.
Sixteen contenders, sixteen different paths, one common goal: go all the way and earn a place in the Goal of the Season hall of fame.
Starting from the left side of the bracket, Matchday 1 immediately serves up an all-away showdown. Lazar Samardžić's strike, crowned Goal of the Month in November, opens the competition against another flash of brilliance in white: Nikola Krstović's effort at the Olimpico against Roma. Next up comes a midfield duel between Marten de Roon's thunderbolt against Parma, the first Snaifun Goal of the Month winner, and Manzoni's gem against Cavese.
In perfect chiasmic fashion, attention then shifts to the opposite side of the draw, where the Kamaldeen-Panada and Zappacosta-Samardžić matchups will get the right half of the bracket underway. The season's first Goal of the Month winner will take on the U23 captain's trademark folha seca: can Kamaldeen recreate the celebrations seen at the Allianz Stadium?
Also involved in the Round of 16 is another European masterpiece from Laki: the unforgettable penalty against Borussia Dortmund. Standing in its way is the March Goal of the Month winner, Davide Zappacosta's exquisite billiard-shot finish.
Staying on the right side of the bracket, Matchday 3 sees Marten de Roon back in action, this time matched up against Nicola Zalewski's dazzling solo run against Lecce. Completing the day's schedule will be Charles De Ketelaere's strike against Chelsea and the season's final "golden ticket", Giacomo Raspadori's hat-trick at San Siro.
The final rotation also brings the last Round of 16 matchups. Nicola Zalewski returns to the spotlight with his Valentine's Day arrow at the Olimpico, facing Gianluca Scamacca's superb demi-volée in Naples. Bringing the opening round to a close will be an all-defenders showdown: Isaac Isoa versus Odilon Kossounou, the last matchup on the schedule and the final chance to secure a place in the quarter-finals.
With the schedule for the next two weeks now set, here's the full roadmap to the final:
- Round of 16: 16–19 June
- Quarter-finals: 22–23 June
- Semi-finals: 25–26 June
- Final: 28 June
The stage is set. Now the verdict belongs to the fans. In the end, only one will remain...
