For Special: an afternoon of first-aid education

The fourth-tier players of Atalanta For Special enjoyed a special educational experience on Wednesday 13 May, spending a day away from their usual training routine but filled with emotions and valuable lessons.

Thanks to the support and availability of the Italian Red Cross volunteers, the boys were introduced to the world of first aid through practical activities, demonstrations and educational sessions inside a real ambulance.

It was an important opportunity to learn about emergency equipment and the correct procedures to follow in critical situations, while also turning curiosity into active involvement. The boys listened carefully, asked questions, explored the medical equipment and took part in hands-on activities guided by the volunteers.

Some stepped into the driver’s cab, others discovered how a stretcher works, while many experienced the excitement of feeling part of a team dedicated to helping others every day.

Atalanta For Special continues its educational journey not only through football, but also through experiences that promote values such as respect, teamwork and responsibility.
