Double Marten: the first Snaifun GOTM goes Oranje!
Voted by Nerazzurri fans on our social channels
"Marten de Roon, Marten de Roon": echoing the chant that erupts every time the Atalanta number 15 finds the back of the net, the refrain repeats itself in the Goal of the Month vote as well. It’s the Dutch box-to-box maestro who doubles up on his 2025 success and kicks off the “new” GOTM Hall of Fame; the opening chapter of the SnaiFun era is all in Oranje, with the evergreen Marten putting the finishing touch on the debate by netting the season’s first double.
Rounding out the podium are Giovanni Percassi and POTM Nikola Krstović.

4th place: Moustapha Cissé, Casarano 0-1 Atalanta U23, Serie C Sky Wifi MD21 (4%)
We kick things off with Moustapha Cissé! The Guinean striker opens the race for the Snaifun Goal of the Month with his first goal of the season—a crucial strike for Bocchetti’s number 14, the one that secured victory on the road at Casarano.
It all starts with a textbook counterattack: Panada delivers a quarterback-style through ball that splits the defense in two, sending Mousta into open space. From there, it’s a full-blown sprint: a blistering run from the halfway line, a shoulder-to-shoulder duel with Lulic won to gain the edge, and then the final obstacle—Bacchin—coldly dispatched. One-on-one with the keeper, there’s only one thing left to do: slot it home. It’s the goal that opens the scoring. It’s the goal that conquers the Giuseppe Capozza.
3rd place: Nikola Krstović, Bologna 0-2 Atalanta; Serie A Enilive MD19 (23%)
Third place on the podium for a goal worthy of… POTM! The bronze of the month goes to the reigning Player of the Month, Nikola Krstović, who came just shy of a double thanks to the goal that capped off another “double” recorded at the Dall’Ara in Bologna. It was a special night for the Nerazzurri number 90, a true turning point in his season. That brace marked the moment his scoring touch struck gold: from then on, the Montenegrin stepped up his game, finding consistency and goals with impressive regularity.
After opening the scoring in the 37th minute with a first-time poacher’s finish, Nikola had his second stamp on the match right on the hour mark. While the first goal showcased his natural predatory instinct, the second highlighted his full savoir-faire in orchestrated play: after a clever header feed from de Roon, Nikola controlled the ball, then in one fluid motion beat Vitik and Heggem with his right foot before shifting the ball onto his left. From there, a low-driven shot threaded the near post, leaving Ravaglia no chance.
Runner-up:Giovanni Percassi, Atalanta 2-3 Lecce, Primavera 1 MD19 (25%)
A feat of strenght by the Primavera, courtesy of Giovanni Percassi! With the goal that made it 2-0 at the Bortolotti, the number 30, under the guidance of coach Bosi, carried the Under-20 Nerazzurri banner onto the second step of the podium—achieving a true milestone for the baby Atalanta, who, for the first time, found themselves on the brink of gold in the contest dedicated to Orobici goalscorers.
The move began on the right: the Atalanta winger accelerated toward the edge of the area, taking advantage of Gobbo’s overlapping run to find a clear lane. Seizing the moment on the fly, he unleashed an unstoppable right-footed strike from the edge of the box, sending the ball past Penev to the near post with pinpoint accuracy, leaving the goalkeeper no chance as the ball nestled perfectly into the bottom corner.
Lecce come out on top at the Centro Bortolotti: on MD19 of the Primavera 1 Championship “Trofeo Giacinto Facchetti”, the Giallorossi defeat the Nerazzurri 3–2.
Winner: Marten de Roon, Atalanta 4-0 Parma, Serie A Enilive MD22 (47%)
The captain Marten de Roon repeats his December triumph! A double both on and off the pitch for the number 15, who mirrors his previous success with another brace, this time against Parma.
We dive straight into the golden moment of January: after a decisive, ice-cold save from Scamacca on the penalty spot, the 24th minute marks the moment for Marten to join the celebration, putting the cherry on top of a textbook team move. De Ketelaere sprints down the flank, executes a lightning-quick roulette, and delivers a precise pass to the captain, who curls an unstoppable shot past the keeper, doubling the home side’s lead.
