DEAcademy Cup Città di Bergamo
The first edition of the tournament dedicated to all Nerazzurri-affiliated clubs
The Oratorio San Paolo hosted the first edition of the “DEAcademy Cup Città di Bergamo”, a tournament dedicated to the city’s affiliated clubs and to boys and girls born in 2018 and 2019.
Organised in collaboration with CSI Bergamo, the event involved the young participants throughout the day, with proceeds going towards the “Sport contro la fame” campaign, promoted by FOCSIV and CSI in collaboration with the FAO. The fundraising initiative also included a raffle, with an Atalanta shirt signed by Giorgio Scalvini up for grabs.
Midway through the day, the new DEAcademy Città di Bergamo season was presented, with Gianpaolo Bellini, Vittorio Bosio, National President of CSI, Martina Quintarelli, Atalanta CSR Manager, Marcella Messina, Bergamo City Council’s Councillor for Sport, and Don Cristiano Re, Episcopal Delegate for Social Affairs and Global Engagement, taking part.
During the presentation, a live link-up from Bolivia with Massimo Casari, President of the Casari Association, provided an opportunity to learn more about the project supported by the campaign.
It was a day that brought football and social commitment together, officially marking the start of the new DEAcademy Città di Bergamo season.
