All teams in action in the final round of 2025
The last weekend of matches in 2025 saw the Atalanta For Special teams in action. The third- and fourth-level squads played the 5th matchday of the DCPS Championship, while the second-level team made up for the postponed game from the previous round against Cagliari.
At the Angelo Moratti Sports Center in Ossona, the Nerazzurri were guided by head coach Gianmario Lesmo and his staff: Walter Probo, Aurelio Birolini, Alfredo Locati, Perry Brignoli, Gioachino Marconi, Leonardo Marcassoli, Corrado Carrara, and Luana Franchina.

CAGLIARI 2-1 ATALANTA FOR SPECIAL

High-level clash between Cagliari and Atalanta For Special, hard-fought and decided by a few key moments. An intense match, played on a knife-edge, highlighting the technical and competitive quality of the category.
Cagliari started at lightning speed, taking the lead after just one minute by exploiting a defensive mistake. Atalanta responded with personality and found the equalizer through Renato Riva, precise from a long-range free kick. In the second half, the pace remained high, and the Sardinians went ahead again early in the half, maintaining the 2-1 lead until the final whistle.
The Nerazzurri kept pressing and came close to leveling the score with Francesco Pezzotti, who narrowly missed an almost open-goal opportunity. The 2-1 final score rewards Cagliari but does not overshadow Atalanta’s convincing performance, once again showing they are on the right path. Positive signs also came from debutant Dennis Ramazani, a fast and promising winger.

ARCOBALENO MONZA 2-1 ATALANTA FOR SPECIAL

Intense match between Atalanta For Special and Arcobaleno Monza, played at a high pace and decided by a few key moments. The opening favored the Brianza team, who scored on a counterattack to take the lead. The Nerazzurri responded immediately: Gianmarco Masserini leveled the score at 1-1 with a display of strength and determination, winning the duel against the defenders and firing an unstoppable shot.
From that moment, Atalanta took control of the game, pushed higher up the pitch, and created several chances in search of the winning goal. Despite the pressure and quality of play, the match remained balanced until the very end, when Monza capitalized on another counterattack to score the decisive goal in the dying moments.
A bitter defeat, but full of positive signs: intensity, personality, and a strong desire to win. The opponents’ experience made the difference, but Atalanta is on the right path, and if they continue like this, results will surely come.

Atalanta For Special continue their march with another top-level performance, marked by quality, intensity, and great team spirit. A victory built despite numerous absences, with every player on the field giving their all.
The Nerazzurri started strongly, immediately taking control of the match thanks to Cristian Illanes, the standout of the day. The striker scored a brace with two identical actions: a sharp dribble followed by an unstoppable angled shot. Riding the wave of enthusiasm, Lorenzo Lena also scored, skillfully beating two defenders with his speed and finishing with composure.
With the match under control, the coaching staff rotated the squad, allowing everyone to contribute. The opponents took advantage of two goal kicks and some defensive lapses to get back to 3-2. Atalanta, however, remained composed: Lorenzo Lena sealed the final score with the goal that confirmed the victory.
A display of strength and maturity for the Nerazzurri, highlighting the team’s growth, depth, and consistency—positive signs for the remainder of the season.
