Two wins and one setback for the Nerazzurri
The first games of 2026 for Atalanta For Special saw the 2nd and 4th tier teams kick off the year with victories, while the 3rd tier squad was defeated by Monza, yet still showed great commitment and determination on the field.
At the Angelo Moratti Sports Center in Ossona, the Nerazzurri put into practice the work carried out over the winter break by Gianmario Lesmo and his staff: Walter Probo, Aurelio Birolini, Alfredo Locati, Perry Brignoli, Gioachino Marconi, Leonardo Marcassoli, Corrado Carrara, and Luana Franchina.

MILAN 1-5 ATALANTA FOR SPECIAL
Atalanta's scorers: Pezzotti, Cordozo (2), Riva, Milan's own goal
A top-level performance from Atalanta For Special, who defeated Milan 5-1 in the Second Tier championship, showcasing their play, intensity, and strong team identity. The work done by the entire squad during the winter break paid off on the field.
Giacomo Probo opened the scoring after an exchange with Francesco Pezzotti, then Fabian Cordozo doubled with a solo effort, and Probo completed his brace to make it 3-0 by halftime. In the second half, Renato Riva scored the fourth goal, Milan pulled one back, but the Nerazzurri sealed the win with an own goal in the closing minutes.
The 5-1 result reflects a match dominated in terms of play, intensity, and team spirit, confirming the group’s maturity and cohesion.

MONZA 6-0 ATALANTA FOR SPECIAL
A challenging day for the Atalanta For Special Third Tier squad, who suffered a 6-0 defeat against Monza, dominant throughout the match. The Nerazzurri started tentatively and quickly conceded the opening goal, losing focus and leaving spaces that Monza exploited to take a 2-0 lead, then 3-0 shortly after.
In the second half, the team improved their attitude and earned a penalty, missed by Marco Capitanio, which could have sparked a comeback. Monza capitalized on the Nerazzurri’s frustration to extend the lead to 6-0, the final score.
A setback that, while underlining the need to better manage tough moments, will still be valuable for the team’s growth and maturity.
DCPS Championship - 4th Tier
OMEGNA 2-5 ATALANTA FOR SPECIAL
Atalanta's scorers: Illanes (2), Lena, Asperti, Testa
The Atalanta For Special Fourth Tier squad keeps their momentum going, defeating Invincibili Omegna, a well-organized team. The start of the match was uncertain, but Cristian Illanes broke the deadlock with an unstoppable shot. The team grew in confidence: Lorenzo Lena scored the second goal after a beautiful team move, and before halftime Illanes completed his brace to make it 3-0.
In the second half, many players came on, making the game more balanced: the opponents pulled one back, but Andrea Asperti restored the lead. Invincibili got within two goals, but in the final minutes captain Gianluca Testa sealed the match at 5-2.
Grit, enthusiasm, and team spirit define this group, which is enjoying an excellent season so far, playing with great personality.
