Atalanta v Real Madrid: the fair-play event
The meeting was hosted in the Gewiss Stadium's Dea Lounge
In the lead-in to the main UCL League Phase MD6 event between Atalanta BC and Real Madrid, the Nerazzurri board and main executives chaperoned their "Los Blancos" homologues for the traditional convivial lunch, also attended by UEFA as tradition dictates. The corporate footballing symposium is not just part and parcel of the pre-match etiquette, but most of all a testament to the values of sportsmanship and fair play, those very same ethics underpinning the ruling body of European football.
Held at the "Dea Lounge", namely the Gewiss Stadium's main restaurant, the 3-star Michelin restaurant "Da Vittorio" delighted the guests once again with a meticulously crafted menu featuring the eponymous and renowned "paccheri Da Vittorio" signature dish.
Representing Real Madrid were President Florentino Pérez; Honorary President José Martínez "Pirri"; Vice President Pedro López Jiménez, CEO José Ángel Sánchez; board members José Manuel Otero lastres and Catalina Miñarro and Director of Institutional Relations Emilio Butragueño.
