Atalanta v Empoli, the 2024 Christmas shirt unveiled!

Atalanta and Joma are thrilled to unveil the 2024 Christmas shirt!
In keeping with the tradition of the Christmas Match, namely the initiative launched by President Antonio Percassi and now entering its 14th year, the Nerazzurri will wear a special kit designed for Atalanta's last home game at the Gewiss Stadium before Christmas. The one-off kit worn by the whole Atalanta roster will be then put up for charity auction.
Entrusted once again with their customary tasks, TuttoAtalanta, the black-and-blue sports show aired on Bergamo TV, will then manage the auction for the Atalanta v Empoli Xmas Match: upon opening during the prime-time airing of Monday, December 23 2024, bidding is to close on 13 January 2025.
All proceeds will be then devolved to charity in their entirety, on behalf of the Fondo Atalanta (Atalanta trust fund) established at the Fondazione della Comunità Bergamasca Onlus (Bergamo Community Foundation) Associazione Amici della Pediatria onlus, which has been supporting the Bergamo hospital since 1990 (now ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII), to create a waiting room named 'Wait & Play' on Hospital Street for all the children who come to the paediatric outpatients' department for treatment, examinations and follow-ups. The waiting time is used to play, which is the child's "work" to grow. The activities offered can be carried out independently, without the presence of professionals or volunteers, experimenting with their own skills and challenging the children present to foster relationships and sociality. Experiencing the hospital by encouraging play highlights the importance of play in a child's life.
The shirt will be available for purchase in all Atalanta Stores, both brick and mortar shops (one in viale Papa Giovanni XXIII 31, one is at the Gewiss Stadium with access from viale Giulio Cesare and the other is at BGY Airport after the security checks) and online. The 2024 Christmas shirt will be on sale from 12 pm on Friday 20 December.

The 2024 Christmas kit results from a successful partnership between Joma and Atalanta. The outcome is an elegant style combined with refined details, for a shirt that combines both innovative aspects and a green vision, thanks to the use of 100% recycled fabric for its production.
The special shirt that the team will wear for the XMAS Match with Empoli is characterised by the club's colours, which have been retained in the details and are combined with different shades of grey in an original pattern, transferred by using the sublimation technique, that echoes the external roof of the Gewiss Stadium, home of Atalanta and all its fans.
Featuring a double colour pattern, light blue on the inside and black-and-blue on the outside, the shirt’s round neckline conveys a modern yet elegant statement. The black-and-blue motives are echoed on the cuffs’ and sleeves’ ribbing. Thanks to the use of an interlock fabric made up of 100% recycled polyester, the shirt’s motives and patterns stand further vivified. In keeping with tradition, while the inner side of the collar bears the “LA MAGLIA SUDATA SEMPRE” (Always sweat for the shirt”) mantra, the “ATALANTA BERGAMO” wording sits proudly on the backside, right under the neckband.
Here is the Christmas kit that the Nerazzurri will be wearing for Atalanta's home game with Empoli! The shirts will then be auctioned off by Tutto Atalanta. All proceeds will go to the charity Amici della Pediatria.
