Atalanta mourn the passing of Giuseppe "Beppe" Savoldi

Atalanta, deeply moved, mourn the passing of Giuseppe "Beppe" Savoldi.

A striker forged in the Nerazzurri youth system, he went on to make 83 appearances for Atalanta Atalanta across the seasons from 1965/66 to 1967/68 and in the 1982/83 campaign, scoring 22 goals

Renowned for his composure from the penalty spot, Savoldi was equally formidable in the air: his exceptional leaping ability made the header one of his signature strengths on the pitch.
