Atalanta-Kairat Almaty, the Official reception

Ahead of Atalanta's Matchday 3 fixture against Kairat Almaty in the 2026/27 UEFA Conference League League Phase, the traditional UEFA Official Reception took place at the Stadio di Bergamo. Representatives of both clubs and UEFA gathered in the hours leading up to kick-off for the customary institutional meeting that accompanies European fixtures.

The occasion provided an opportunity to welcome the Kazakh delegation and continue a longstanding tradition of UEFA club competitions. The event opened with official greetings, followed by the customary exchange of gifts and photographs, before the delegations sat down for the official luncheon.

Representing Atalanta and welcoming the guests were Institutional General Manager Umberto Marino, General Secretary and UEFA Main Contact Marco Semprini, Marketing and Commercial Director Romano Zanforlin, and Sporting Secretary Pietro Bertino.

The Kairat Almaty delegation included CEO Askar Yessimov, Head of Scouting Kasymkhan Talasbayev, and Daniil Lomakin, the club's main contact for international relations.

UEFA was represented by delegate Sertan Kiragasi, accompanied by his mentor Scott Struthers, Venue Director Aleks Stolfa, and Venue Operations and Broadcast Manager Hande Yuksel Trabucchi.
